I don't tend to do a lot of pre-sketches before I draw or paint anything. Either I come up with it on the spot, or I spend a really, really long time coming up with it.
What this means is that when I'm good, sometimes it's by accident, sometimes it's on purpose. The same goes for when my art is bad, so...
What does that say about my skill level?
